Hi, I'm Chris.

I'm a freelance journalist based in New York City. I've interned at the Los Angeles Times and the Tampa Bay Times, and most recently, I spent a year as a reporting fellow for The New York Times. I've also written for Duke Magazine, INDY Week, Fare Forward and a variety of other publications.

In September, I begin a one-year master's in journalism at the University of Limerick in Ireland as a George J. Mitchell Scholar. 

 

I graduated summa cum laude from Duke University, where I studied English, political science, and journalism and edited for the university newspaper.
